The color that saves lives
Usually we see accustomed to see doctors in white robe and already subconsciously associate the medical profession with this color. The white clothes of the medical workers explained with the practicality of this color. Any, even the slightest, stains are clearly visible on it, and it is possible to bleach a monochromatic white fabric with the help of usual chlorine. But why then modern surgeons do not wear white coats?
Surgeons wear blue or green robes for a reason. It's all about the device of human vision.
Green — the most restful color for our eyes. It helps to relax and focus on a specific action, while red is a clear irritant. And irritability is simply unacceptable during complex multi-hour operations. Yes, and the crystal white color can momentarily blind the doctor, who for a long time concentrated on dark colors. Therefore, this color is chosen primarily not because of the aesthetic quality, but because of practicality. This can significantly reduce the likelihood of errors during the operation.
We sometimes do not pay attention to some things but it can be a thoroughly thought out things. And even such an insignificant detail as the color of a robe helps to save lives.
